The Boann Summer Solstice Limited Release for 2026 is Boann Legacy Cask Strength Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
The same complex mash bill and seven-cask maturation as the Legacy, bottled at a cask strength of 59.2% ABV. The fuller ABV brings a bolder, more intense expression of the pot still character that Legacy has to offer.
Boann Legacy Cask Strength Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a limited release of 777 bottles and will be available from Boann Distillery from Friday, June 19th.
Nose
Bold and immediately expressive. Ripe fruit surges forward, stewed orchard fruits and dark berries, underpinned by generous caramel and a warmth that signals the cask strength within. A few minutes in the glass opens it up considerably.

Palate
Rich and full-bodied, coating the palate with a thick, almost syrupy texture. Sweet and spicy in equal measure, caramel and dark fruit sweetness trade blows with pot still pepper and warming spice. A drop of water is rewarded, softening the heat and coaxing out additional layers of fruit and toffee.
